Attorney, civil rights activist and former Washington, D.C. city councilor Wilhelmina Jackson Rolark died Feb. 14. Rolark and her late husband, Calvin W. Rolark, co-founded the Washington Informer newspaper in 1964. Her stepdaughter, Denise Rolark-Barnes, will carry on as publisher of the Informer.
